The term khādī today defines a
traditional manufacturing technique: hand-spun and hand-woven cotton.
In
respect for these codes and in order to revisit them, Khadi weaving is
exceptionally thick and dense: the result is surprising.
The Khadi bedspread is made of heavy cotton with a felted appearance.
irregularities of the weave embody the beauty of handmade. A fresh bedspread
summer, warm winter… magical at every moment.
And if this
Khadi bedspread gets its name because it tells a story. In India
Khadi has strong sentimental value: Mahatma Gandhi wore khadi
as a symbol of the resistance of his people, an embodiment of beauty
of know-how and the value of its traditions.
