History

Helios is the upholstered version of the Alto sofa, for a softer and slightly less graphic look. It nevertheless retains its qualities: robustness, unforgettable silhouette and comfort of choice for families on a daily basis.

Its silhouette: covered and therefore softer than its alter ego Alto, it presents a clever mix of hold, softness, support and thickness. Helios has a particularly irresistible airy look, contrasted by its wide armrests and its robustness. Helios has the alloy of a soft backrest ensuring very good support and thick and infinitely soft cushions.

Its secret: Helios has a low seat that is slightly inclined at the back to maximize its comfort. Like all our sofas, it is made to order in our workshops.

Seat suspensions: crisscrossed elastic straps
Seat cushions: HR foam 35 kg and HR foam 55 kg, covered with a 70% feather and 30% fiber envelope wrapped in polyether fiber
Back cushions: 70% feathers and 30% fiber
Feet: silence domes (plastic protective pads)

The technique

Caravane asserts its requirement by selecting noble materials: solid wood, high-quality foam, and just the right amount of feathers that guarantee incomparable seating comfort that lasts over time. The finishes are meticulous down to the smallest details: hand-forged feet for some, percale or cotton tarpaulin that protect and dress their structure, or fine seat protection quilt for convertibles.

Aesthetics

Their adornment is allied with the Caravane range of fabrics and colors which allows everyone to find their happiness. Working with master dyers allows us to take great care in creating our color palettes.

The color

Our coloramas are unique and designed to be combined endlessly in wise or surprising combinations, from bold prints to vibrant and timeless linen. We favor natural fibers of quality and European origin. These are transformed by experts at all levels of manufacturing, we use a varied panel of finishing techniques that make the colors vibrate, give them relief and an inimitable character.
