History

The Adao rug pattern is inspired by Ikat: here the weaving technique is quite different…

A rug featuring a subtle gradient that brings:
- Colour with its shades (Laurel, Golden Brown or Lake) from the essentials of the Caravane palette;
- But also light, with this natural fiber that gently appears along its length.

The colors are revealed through its tight and dense weave, a soft blend of jute (90%) and linen (10%), resulting in such a cozy feel.
… That's the secret to its vibrant texture.

Adao features a cotton back for better support on the ground.

Advice

Regular vacuuming: vacuum gently without a rotating brush to avoid damaging the fibers. Two to three times per week is recommended, especially in high-traffic areas.

Avoid stains: clean any spilled liquid immediately by blotting with a dry cloth. Do not rub, as this may set the stain deeper into the fibers.

Deep cleaning: once a year, have your rug professionally cleaned by a specialist experienced with wool rugs.

Air and shake: from time to time, take your rug outside and shake it to remove dust and dirt that settle deep within the fibers.

Avoid moisture: wool is sensitive to moisture, so never leave your rug wet for extended periods.
