Always at the centre of the living room, ready to welcome laughter and travel through the pages, aperitifs and Sunday films, the sofa is a member of the family that lives with you. This is why it seemed obvious to us to make it an even more valuable everyday ally by developing a range of convertibles. After years of work, we are proud to have been able to develop models that retain the signature silhouette dear to Caravane while providing unrivaled comfort, which is unfortunately often too rare in convertibles.
The 3-fold convertible, for its part, has a clever mechanism which is hidden in the structure of the sofa so as not to distort the Caravane spirit.
Its seat has been designed to ensure optimal comfort, while being a comfortable extra bed. Its mattress combines two foams: a 35kg high resilience foam for support, and a layer of memory foam for a soft welcome. It also has a solid beech slatted base.
Second option
It allows for considerable space saving when it is deployed with disconcerting ease, moreover, thanks to its handles and its system of accompanying the opening movement. It has the comfort of a real bed, and can even be used as a permanent bed thanks to its 12 cm memory foam mattress, standard bed dimensions (160x200cm). Its metal mesh bed bases are independent and have spring suspensions to ensure comfort like a little cloud, during the day when sitting and at night for sweet dreams.
For both models, a protective cover covers the opening mechanism and isolates it from the fabric in order to protect the sofa cover and limit friction. The result? A quality finish, emblematic of Caravane. They are both manufactured in Europe in a high quality process.
