Definitions

  • Site: This merchant site accessible at the address www.caravane.fr which aims to sell online, to individuals, interior decoration items (furniture, household linen, lighting, carpets).
  • User: Any Internet user, adult natural person or legal entity, connected to the Site Client: The User having created an account on the CARAVANE Site: The CARAVANE company
  • Personal Data or Data means the information that the User voluntarily provides when opening an Account on the Site and/or that which will be collected in the context of accessing and/or using the Site.
  • Order validation: The firm and definitive confirmation of the details of the order by the Customer, which presupposes acceptance of the General Conditions of Sale.

For international orders, product prices are listed in euros, including VAT, excluding customs duties. Customs duties must be paid by the customer directly to the carrier. There is no option to pay customs duties at checkout. Instead, you may be charged upon delivery (DDU - Delivered Duty Unpaid).

Standard delivery is free for purchases over €150 in France and the United Kingdom, with the exception of orders:
- Containing fabric-per-meter less than or equal to 3m,
- Whose delivery costs exceed €100,
- To Corsica, coastal islands and mountain areas that are difficult to access,
- Containing large references.

References to the following characteristics are considered to be voluminous:
- Developed perimeter*: greater than or equal to 3 m
- Total weight: greater than or equal to 30 kg
- Total length: greater than or equal to 2 m
*The expanded perimeter is equivalent to: (width + height) x 2 + length.

For Holi sofas and armchairs, a manufacturing period of 8 weeks is to be expected. Upon delivery, the Customer will carry out a physical inspection of the Product to determine whether the Product is affected by transport damage and/or whether it complies with the specifications of the order; in the first case, the Customer must report the damage on the delivery slip and/or within 48 hours by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt to the carrier's address; in the second case, the lack of conformity of the Product with respect to the order must be notified to CARAVANE under the same conditions; failure to comply with this deadline will not accept any claims. The delivery time is an indicative time. Consequently, exceeding the indicative delivery date appearing on the order cannot give rise to damages, withholding, or cancellation of the current order.

Caravane San Francisco Return and Exchange policy is as follows:

Caravane offers returns for store credit or exchange only within seven (7) days of original purchase or seven (7) days from receipt of products if items were shipped. Return shipping and the costs associated, is the responsibility of the purchaser. All items must be in original packaging and in the condition received. Note, store credit is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

To change your sofa without changing your sofa, all you need is a magic trick: a different shade, a different material... A new cover. If you already have one of our slipcovered models, we'll make the new slipcover for you in our boutique*, with the exception of the HOLI sofa, for which you'll be billed only for the fabric yardage.*Offer available only in-store and on our slipcovered models (purchased in 2018 or later), with the exception of the HOLI sofa. ▪ Make him aware of the hazards of the result and write down in black and white that there can be no claims if the result is not perfectly adjusted.▪ It's up to the customer to give you all the dimensions, not you to go and get themException: As the Adar range has always been made by the same workshop, there is no constraint linked to the date of purchase. All you need to do is tell the workshop the year of purchase and whether it's the old or the new upholstery.Stretch modelsWe offer a reupholstering service. Additional costs: Transport to customer's home Reminder: despite numerous requests, it is not recommended to make a slipcover to lay over a stretched sofa. The result can vary greatly depending on the initial upholstery fabric and the fabric of the slipcover.
