Papilio, an iconic pattern

From cushions to bedspreads, from quilts to wallpaper, the Papilio pattern makes its mark. Delicately block-printed or embroidered, it comes in several colorways, each revealing a new light, a different ambiance. The flowers settle, repeat, and blossom on the fabric, like a whisper of spring in the home.

Papilio embroidery

Guided by the artisan's hand and block printing in India, Papilio draws inspiration from this tradition but reinvents and reinterprets it through embroidery. This work consists of thick cotton, topped with dense embroidery thread, with chosen irregularities: chain stitch, braided stitch...

Papilio is also reinvented for outdoor use. Its dense, textured embroidery unfolds on a specially treated fabric to resist light and bad weather, while maintaining a natural feel. Removable and easy to maintain, it is designed to accompany outdoor living throughout the season.

Papilio is now available as a bedspread.

It holds secrets that are only discovered when it becomes your own. Beneath its classic appearance, it conceals the enveloping richness of a thick and comfortable double material. A reversible piece: one side features our iconic Papilio motif. The other is a washed velvet, immensely soft. Both sides are topstitched to give structure to the entire piece and further emphasize its plushness. A bedspread in which you can't help but curl up, to read or to dream.
