History

The Balbi suspension is made using an ingenious method, a clever combination of tradition and modernity. It is a braiding of banana fiber, twisted and then knotted by hand using the macramé technique. The weaving gives the fiber strength, while giving it a soft and light texture.

Balbi comes in six formats to assemble and combine according to your ideas: ball or bottle, cone or parasol. To obtain these very special shapes, our craftsmen worked on inflated balloons or molds, made to measure.

Installation:

The pendant light requires a suspension electrification.
For installation, the electrification must be connected to the electrical outlet in the ceiling. The ceiling rose conceals the connections and secures the fixture to the ceiling.
The pendant light is then attached to the electrification, and the bulb is screwed into the socket.
Using a cable clamp allows you to adjust the position of the bulb and place it at the desired height within the pendant light.


Care instructions:

Clean the pendant light with a soft, dry cloth to preserve the finish of the material.
Avoid using abrasive products, solvents, or household cleaners that could damage the finish.
In case of more persistent dust, gently wipe with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately with a soft cloth.
We recommend using LED bulbs to preserve the pendant light and maintain soft lighting.
