History

Against a natural background, lines and decorative bands intersect to create a bold checked pattern, framed on either side by a tobacco-coloured border that gives structure to the design. A decidedly graphic rug that brings character to your room without stealing the spotlight. Available in four sizes, from a hallway runner to a large living-room rug.

In the purest tradition of Indian weaving, each rug is handwoven on rustic looms. The patterns emerge line by line, creating a fabric of surprising fineness and softness.

Advice

Regular vacuuming: vacuum gently without using a rotating brush to avoid damaging the fibres. Vacuuming two to three times a week is recommended, particularly in high-traffic areas.
Prevent stains: clean up any spills immediately by blotting with a dry cloth. Do not rub, as this may cause the stain to penetrate deeper into the fibres.
Deep cleaning: once a year, have your rug professionally cleaned by a specialist in wool rugs.
Air and shake: occasionally shake your rug outdoors to remove dust and dirt that may have settled deep within the fibres.
Avoid moisture: wool is sensitive to moisture, so never leave your rug wet for extended periods.
