History

The term "khadi" today defines a traditional manufacturing technique: hand-spun and hand-woven cotton. In keeping with these codes and to reinterpret them, the Khadi weave is exceptionally thick and dense, resulting in a surprising finish. The Khadi bedspread is thus made of heavy cotton with a felt-like appearance. The irregularities of the weave embody the beauty of handmade craftsmanship. A bedspread that is cool in summer and warm in winter... magical at all times.

And if this Khadi bedspread bears its name, it's because it tells a story. In India, khadi has strong sentimental value: Mahatma Gandhi wore khadi as a symbol of his people's resistance, an embodiment of the beauty of craftsmanship and the value of its traditions.
