History

The Fil à Fil small cushion cover celebrates the beauty of washed linen in a design that is both natural and refined. Crafted from flax harvested and woven in Europe, it showcases the suppleness of its weave, giving it a fluid drape, a light and airy feel, and lasting comfort.

Washed linen offers a naturally soft, lively and subtly textured feel. Breathable and thermoregulating, it helps maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the seasons, providing a refreshing sensation in warmer weather and enveloping comfort as temperatures begin to fall.

Each piece is garment-dyed in our French workshop using a piece-dyeing technique that reveals the full depth and subtlety of its colours. Carefully considered finishes, including delicate fabric ties, lend the collection its understated and timeless elegance.

Naturally soft and gently crinkled, washed linen is prized for its authentic character and rich texture, becoming even softer and more beautiful with every wash. The slight irregularities of the fibre reflect the living nature of this noble material, making each cushion cover unique. Presented in packaging crafted from the same fabric using the traditional Furoshiki wrapping technique, it reflects the meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship that define the collection.

Advice

Washing:

Machine wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C (104°F).
