History

Inspired by Chinese lanterns, the Ion duo combines a raw steel floor lamp base with a woven rattan lampshade, for a piece that is both sculptural and poetic.

The Ion lamp base, hand-forged in a French blacksmith's workshop, boasts a slender silhouette and delicate appearance. Its mobile structure, equipped with an articulated hook, allows the lampshade to be attached while offering it subtle freedom of movement, as if suspended in mid-air.

The Ion Bamboo lampshade, meanwhile, makes a statement with its rich rattan weave. Each rod is cut to size, then hand-applied and braided onto an iron frame. The result: an openwork weave that filters light through a graphic interplay of stripes, adding depth and atmosphere to any space.
