History

Each basket tells the story of the craftsmanship of Bolgatanga, in northern Ghana. Entirely handwoven, this unique weaving tradition begins with the harvesting of Veta Vera grass, a naturally durable fibre, which is then dyed and carefully woven using traditional techniques passed down over time. Here, the basketry takes the form of a small table basket, perfect for replacing a bread basket, storing napkin rings, or displaying a few fruits on a summer table.
