History

Caravane reinterprets 4 of its cult prints in wallpaper, for poetic walls and a reinvented interior. Breathtaking and timeless, the traditionally block-printed patterns have been reworked here with a very high-quality digital print, which allows to preserve the splendor and roughness of each small detail and to obtain even more vibrant and deep colors, for an authentic and stunning rendering.

As for the paper, it is natural and without surface treatment, with water-based inks, encapsulated in latex certified for its low environmental impact.

To calculate the number of rolls needed for a wall surface, allow a margin of 10 cm for the dimensions of the height and length of the wall. For the rolls, add in addition for each height the dimension of the connection (specific to each pattern):

. TULIPANE = 22.2 cm
. LETHO = 11.4 cm
. PAPILIO = 23.8 cm

For the glue: we offer pots ofgluesquality, 2 formats available to order:

For installation:The wall on which the wallpaper is to be placed must be sound, dry, clean, and smooth. Since our wallpaper is natural and has no surface treatment, it is essential to take all the installation precautions explained in the installation plan.

Light-colored wallpapers are placed on a plain white wall.

Medium and dark colored wallpapers are placed on a wall that is the same background color as the pattern or is close to it.

Trick :To avoid painting the entire wall, paint only the vertical strips where the strips join.

To ensure that the non-woven wallpaper made from natural materials adapts to the room's humidity, remove it from its packaging 24 hours before installation. Before, during, and 24 hours after installation, ensure that there are no drafts, temperature changes, air conditioning, or direct heating on the paper. It is recommended to use the smoothing spatula carefully and work mainly with your hands. They are the softest and most suitable tool for feeling the material. Wash your hands, tools, and sponge as soon as there is glue on them.

To remove glue from paper, use a damp, well-wrung sponge to gently wipe the paper, without rubbing or applying pressure, as this could cause the ink to bleed and the colors to fade.

Please note that digital printing may present slight variations in color for multiple reasons: variable temperature of the printing workshop, different color adhesion from one roll of paper to another. This is why we recommend ordering in one go. Because if you want to complete your first order with a second one, the colors will be slightly different.
