History

Like almost magical lanterns, the Ion wall lights draw their unique glow from the beauty of Nepalese craftsmanship. An iconic Caravane design is reimagined in a new material and a palette of harmonious colours, creating soft, warm atmospheres.

The paper is entirely handmade from Lokta fibres, which are first boiled, then beaten with a wooden mallet before being left to dry in specially made frames under the sun. This patient, traditional process gives the paper its distinctive, subtly irregular texture and unique character.

Advice

Installation:
There are two ways to install the wall light:

Installation with a wall bracket (hardwired connection)
If your electrical outlet is located directly in the wall, the wall light can be installed using a wall bracket.
The bracket is connected to the electrical wires in the wall and then secured in place. The wall light is then screwed onto the bracket, and the bulb is screwed into the integrated socket.
Installation with a cable and plug
If you do not have a wall electrical outlet, the wall light can be used with a cable and plug.
The wall light is fixed to the wall and connected to a power socket using the power cable. The bulb is then screwed into the socket.

Care:

Clean the wall light with a soft, dry cloth to preserve the beauty of the material.
Avoid abrasive products, solvents or household cleaning products, as they may damage the finish.
For more stubborn dust, gently wipe with a slightly damp cloth, then dry immediately with a soft cloth.
We recommend using LED bulbs to help preserve the wall light and maintain a soft, gentle glow.
