History

Don't be fooled by its classic appearance: Platao's charm lies in the subtlety of its nuances:

- A background available in off-white, charcoal, chrome or hazelnut, with a natural charm
- Bordered on the side with two lines of cotton, one fine, the other more generous
- Small colored pompoms in acidulous shades, bringing a touch of the unexpected and cheerfulness.

Placemats made from banana fibers, held together with carefully knotted cotton thread. Each piece was handcrafted on manual looms in the Tamil Nadu region of southern India.
