History

The very contemporary design of the Halo suspension is the result of meticulous craftsmanship. This is why the lines drawn by the rattan always remain random, the finishes natural and organic.

When light shines through rattan, all the details of its composition are revealed:

  • The rattan rods are first cut precisely, so that they adopt the desired size.
  • The rattan fiber is then applied to an iron structure, and braided to emphasize the lines and gently curve its silhouette.
  • The black dye is then applied to make everything uniform, with a matte finish.

Two models of suspensions: one is slender, the other more voluptuous, together they coexist in complete harmony.

Electrification and bulb sold separately.

Crafts - Halo Suspension

Our design process

Iconic pieces that celebrate rattan craftsmanship and the natural beauty of raw materials.

They reflect ancestral know-how while fitting into a contemporary aesthetic. Their design process highlights the versatility of rattan, a durable, flexible and warm material that brings an organic touch to any space. The rattan at the heart of the Halo pendant light is carefully selected for its quality and strength. Each rod is bent, curved and intertwined with meticulous precision, giving life to a light but robust structure. This know-how allows the creation of airy and elegant shapes, where every detail is designed to enhance the material.

The design of Halo suspensions is based on a harmony between the simplicity of lines and the richness of textures.

The rattan weaving is done in such a way as to allow light to escape delicately through the gaps, creating subtle plays of light and shadow that gently dress the space. The lighting effect is both warm and soothing, recalling the atmosphere of the natural landscapes from which the rattan comes.
