History

The coffee tables in the Ame range are entirely made by a master metalworker.

A handcrafted process that unfolds in several stages. Each sheet of metal is first meticulously selected. Then the steel is carefully worked to create this soft and deep patina.

Exceptional craftsmanship gives each coffee table its distinctive texture and magnetic silhouette.

Ame is available in three formats, which can be chosen individually or combined as desired:
• Alone to dress up a section of sofa
• In pairs for engaging in conversation with complicity
• In trios for surprising little combinations
• Or as a family to interlock or face each other, and compose new harmonies.
Ame is full of strength, but also of lightness. Its three feet stand on a base, echoing the shape of the tabletop, like a negative image.

How to care for your raw steel furniture

Avoid using detergents or glass cleaners. Once your furniture is in place, we recommend treating it with care products similar to those used for wood, such as colourless oil or a wax polish made from clear wax and turpentine. Applied once a week, these treatments help remove fingerprints and fine surface scratches while providing lasting protection and preserving the natural beauty of the raw steel. After each cleaning, wipe the surface thoroughly with a soft, dry cloth to remove any remaining moisture. Water is the greatest enemy of raw steel. Never clean your furniture with water, and avoid placing it outdoors, as exposure to moisture will cause rust to develop.
